Great question and it’s one I get asked often! After you’ve decided to move forward with me, we will set a date and meet on that day around 30-45 min earlier than when I would like to start shooting. This will generally be over coffee. I never like to show up and just throw a camera in your face. The best photos come from us all being comfortable with each other before we even get to location. Once we’ve chatted a little bit then we can go to location (generally somewhere close to where we met).

Anywhere from 1-2 hours max. That’s with meeting time, travel time and shooting time.

I always say that 2 outfits is the sweet spot and you can bring a 3rd just to be safe. I know sometimes it’s hard to choose so if we have time we can do 3 outfits.
-
That is a yes and a no. It’s all situational. If you’re doing your session here in Shreveport with me then there’s a good chance we can do multiple locations as long as it’s in town. Not every circumstance will allow that.

I always try to stay in the 75-150 range when delivering images back but generally I underpromise and overdeliver. I’m a bit snap happy and like to take lots of images during your session so you’ll get back more than you’d expect. Gallery delivery is done through an online site called Pic-Time. You’ll get an email with your fully edited gallery and you can download all of the images high resolution. I also send a print discount through the gallery for your convenience so you don’t have to take the photos anywhere else to print them. It’s never required to print through me but I always recommend it!

This is honestly one of the most important questions to ask. My editing style leans a little more toward the natural. I’m very big on color theory and believe there are just some colors you should 100% stay away from while being photographed. I recommend one dressier outfit and one more casual. Those are completely situational to you. Not everyone wears a suit for dressy photos. Some wear just a nice dress shirt and slacks. Regardless of what you wear, just make sure you’re comfortable and love the way you look and feel. If you don’t like the way you look in the mirror then you will not like your photos.
Do where: Neutral colors and tones. Darker colors like forest green, navy blues and maroons. My editing style looks really good with warmer toned colors.Don’t wear: neons and bright colors such as pinks and reds. Those colors are very vibrant and tend to bleed onto your skin tone.
